Among the key themes of development cooperation in 2026, we would like to place a special emphasis in this project on poverty reduction and economic growth. The goal of the seminar is to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the causes and effects of poverty and to develop strategies and methods for promoting sustainable economic growth.

Through interactive workshops, young people will engage with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and delve deeper into the key topic of poverty reduction. In doing so, they will explore various areas of sustainability and connect them in all their complexity.
The theoretical exploration of cooperation and social sustainability is complemented by active team-building activities, which can have a lasting impact beyond the project and empower the young people.
Creating and reflecting on creative, utopian worlds serves to broaden the horizon of possibilities for poverty reduction and sustainable coexistence by drawing on specific areas of society.
Armed with the knowledge they’ve gained and inspired by these utopian visions, the young people will develop their own concepts for promoting sustainable development in their communities and join forces to collaborate.
